About our insulation contractor crew in Pueblo

How I ended up in Pueblo's attics

I started this business in Pueblo in 2017. I taught myself insulation from books and maker guides, then learned the rest on the job, mostly on my knees in attics and crawl spaces, which is a good way to make a lesson stick. Nine years in, I still come out to look at every job myself, and I'm on site for most of what our install crew does.

Most calls start the same way: a drafty bedroom, a hot upstairs, a power bill that keeps climbing, or old insulation that's gone flat. Some come from property managers with commercial buildings, and we see everything from older Pueblo houses to newer builds out in Pueblo West. What I care about most is the work nobody sees once we leave, like the air sealing that closes gaps around pipes and lights before any insulation goes in. I'd rather tell you a job should wait, or happen in a different order, than do it fast and wrong. Everything we do is on our home page.

What you can count on when we're in your attic

  • We seal before we insulate

We look the space over and close the gaps around can lights, pipes and the attic hatch first, so the new insulation isn't fighting a draft. It takes longer than just blowing more in, and it's why what you pay for actually does its job.

  • We tell you what we find up there

If we find old vermiculite, bad wiring, a leaky roof or a mouse that overstayed, we tell you straight and hold off until it's dealt with. Fresh insulation over a problem only hides it, and the problem stays.

  • The person pricing it knows the build

I come out, look at your space and put the price on it myself, so the quote comes from someone who knows how the job gets done. If you'd like me to take a look, reach us through our contact page.

Licensed, insured and clear on the local rules

Serving Pueblo Since 2017

  • Licensed and fully insured

Licensed and fully insured. If your job needs a permit, we work out which building office covers your address, pull the permit and line up the inspection, because Pueblo, the county and the Colorado Springs side don't all use the same office.

  • A city business license inside Pueblo

Anyone doing business inside Pueblo city limits needs a city business license, and contractors who sell a service hold the Use Tax License kind. Homes outside city limits fall under Pueblo County instead, which is one more reason we ask for your address first.
