Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Precision Pueblo Spray Foam Insulation website and any work you book with us. By browsing the home page or any other page, sending us a request, or scheduling a job, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work with us.
When we give you a written estimate or agreement for a specific job, its terms apply to that job. Where the two differ, the written agreement for your job wins.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Pueblo, CO, and we work in Pueblo and the cities around it. Our crew handles spray foam, blown-in and batt insulation, air sealing, insulation removal, crawl space and basement work, and vapor barriers for homes and some commercial buildings.
What you read on this site is general information about the trade. Every house is different, so what your attic, walls or crawl space actually need gets settled at the estimate and not on a web page. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
Our estimates are free and done in person, and there's no pressure to book. We come out because the price depends on things we have to see, like how much space there is, how easy it is to reach, what's already up there and whether old material has to come out first.
An estimate is our price for the work described on it, based on what we could see that day. Once a job is open we sometimes find things we couldn't see before, like wet or contaminated insulation, damaged framing or hidden gaps. If that happens, we stop and explain what we found, and we don't do extra work or charge for it until you approve the change.
An estimate holds for the period written on it. After that, material costs can change, so we may need to update the price before we schedule.
Scheduling, rescheduling and canceling
We set your job date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, illness or an unsafe condition at the house can push a date, and if that happens we'll call you as early as we can and offer the next open day.
Some jobs, spray foam especially, mean you, your kids and your pets need to be out of the house while we work and until the re-entry time, which is when it's safe to come back inside. We follow the foam maker's instructions on that, and we'll tell you the timing before the job so you can plan around it.
If you need to move or cancel, call us as soon as you know. If we've already ordered materials for your job or sent the crew out, you may owe for those costs as stated in your written agreement.
Payment
Payment is due as stated in your written estimate or agreement, and we'll tell you up front which payment methods we take. On larger jobs we may ask for part of the price before we start, and if so it will be written on your agreement.
If a balance goes unpaid, we may stop further work and use any collection steps Colorado law allows, including recovering reasonable collection costs where the law permits.
Our guarantee and warranty limits
We guarantee you'll be satisfied with our work. If something isn't right after we finish, call us and we'll come back, look at it and make it right if the problem is with what we did.
Insulation and foam products carry their makers' warranties, and those are handled under each maker's terms. We'll pass along the paperwork we get for the products used on your job.
Our guarantee doesn't cover problems caused by others, like roof leaks, plumbing leaks, pests, other trades working in the space after us, or changes you make later. It also doesn't cover conditions in the house that were there before we started and weren't part of the work. We can't promise a specific drop in your power bill, because that depends on your house, your habits and the weather.
Apart from what's written here and in your job agreement, we make no other warranties, express or implied, to the extent Colorado law allows.
Limits on our liability
We're licensed and fully insured, and we take responsibility for the work our crew does. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, like lost use of the house, lost income or hotel costs, and our total liability for any job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
The information on this website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate, but we aren't liable for decisions made from general information on the site without an estimate for your own house.
If we disagree
Call us first, because most problems get settled with a conversation and a visit to the house. If we can't work it out together, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court.
If a dispute still isn't settled, it will be handled in the courts located in Pueblo County, Colorado.
Which state's law applies
These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its rules about choosing another state's law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. Changes don't reach back to a job you've already signed for, because that job follows the agreement you signed.
